The UofL-Owensboro BSN Program began as a partnership between the University of Louisville and Owensboro Health, providing students in the Owensboro area with the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in a traditional format. This program is divided into two tiers: Lower Division and Upper Division. This BSN program prepares students for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). A maximum of twenty students are accepted each fall and spring semester.

Lower Division courese consist of general education and other program prerequisite courses that may be completed at any regionally accredited college or university. Upper Division students are enrolled in nursing and clinical courses at our School of Nursing located on the 4th floor of the Breckenridge Medical Plaza.
