Vaccine Information
All Americans age 16 years and older are now eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine. Individuals age 16-17 can only receive the the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, so make sure to check locations to determine which vaccine is offered.
Some locations do not offer direct appointment sign up, but it is highly recommended to sign up on a waiting list/registration list. Individuals on waiting lists usually receive a same-day or next-day call to schedule an appointment.
GRITS will provide free transportation to vaccine appointments, when scheduled 24 hours in advance. Call 270-686-1651 for information.

Federal Pharmacy Vaccine Sites – Appointments/wait lists are available for at several Daviess County locations including Walgreens, Nation’s Medicines, Kroger, Wal-Mart, Poole’s Pharmacy Care, and Owensboro Family Pharmacy and more.
Health First Community Health Center: Health First has teamed up with local community agencies to host weekly vaccine clinics in an effort to increase access and help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Vaccine clinics are scheduled for the following locations:
• Tuesdays – Providence Community Center, 211 Wallace St., Providence, KY
• Wednesdays – Princeton Tourist Welcome Center, 206 E. Market St., Princeton, KY
• Thursdays – Calhoun Baptist Church, 315 Main St., Calhoun, KY
An appointment is required. Registration can be completed by visiting HealthFirstCHC.net or calling (877) 677-7017.
