The Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the Leadership Owensboro Class of 2026. Leadership Owensboro is a 9-month program designed to strengthen leadership skills and deepen understanding of the community through monthly, full-day sessions.
Topics covered in the program include economy and innovation, education, healthcare, local government, justice, arts and culture, philanthropy, and human services.
“The sessions offer unique perspectives of the inner workings of our community while encouraging diversity of thought, leadership development, and community engagement,” said Ashtin Warren, the Chamber’s Director of Talent Programs.
Nomination forms are available online at chamber.owensboro.com/leadership-owensboro. Completed forms can be submitted by email to Warren at awarren@owensboro.com or delivered in person to the Chamber office at 200 East 3rd Street.
Applications will be sent to all nominees beginning June 30, and final applications must be submitted by July 29.
The program runs from September 2025 through May 2026 and is aimed at professionals looking to make a lasting impact in the region. Participants are immersed in key issues and given the opportunity to build lasting relationships and valuable professional networks.
