Rooster Booster to feature minority business panel

Thursday’s Rooster Booster program will feature a minority business panel discussion highlighting best practices and innovative regional solutions for employers.

The panel will include Ticy Cox (Kahawa Java), Ulysses Johnson (Strength Renewed), Oralis Radilla (Don Mario’s and Real Hacienda), and Allyson Sanders (Owensboro Community & Technical College, The Party Space Place and Something Borrowed). It will be moderated by El’Agance Shemwell (44News).

“Small business is the backbone of our community,” said Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Candance Castlen Brake. “We are delighted to be spotlighting a few of the many small businesses in our community that are minority-owned and led. This is such an important growth sector in our Greater Owensboro area.”

The program begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Owensboro Convention Center (501 West Second Street) and is sponsored by RiverValley Behavioral Health. Register to attend here or call the Chamber office at 270-926-1860.
