Chamber Member of the Week: Kentucky Dream Realty LLC
Nearly 4 years ago, Vickie Boarman Ballard formed Kentucky Dream Realty LLC. She wanted a company focused on client service that was integrity-driven and not afraid of change.
The company began as Owensboro Dream Realty, but Ballard quickly realized that she and her team’s reach extended well past Owensboro and Daviess County. They operate under the mission statement, “Transforming the real estate experience with integrity and a client-focused culture.”
“At Kentucky Dream Realty LLC, we help our clients with all their residential and commercial real estate needs,” Ballard said. “Our mission for our sellers is to get top dollar as quickly as possible on the homes or commercial properties that we are helping them sell.”
She said they accomplish that goal with competitive pricing, marketing, and negotiation tactics. They also take pride in keeping their sellers informed during the entire process by staying in constant communication.
When it comes to buying a home, Ballard and her team guide their clients through every step of the process. Their ultimate goal is to help buyers find and close on their dream homes with a payment that they are comfortable with.
“Every client is important to us – whether they are buying their first home, second home, or forever home, each and every client will be a priority,” she said. “Our realtors stay informed on the different mortgage specials for our clients to educate them on the options available and any specials such as the first-time homebuyer tax credit. The rates and tax credits can make a huge difference for our clients.”
Ballard became a realtor in 2007 after a lengthy career in the banking industry. She considers the profession to be personally rewarding, with most of her clients becoming friends.
“I absolutely love helping people, and being a realtor allows me to do this on a whole new level,” Ballard said. “Buying a home is often one of the biggest purchases most people will ever make, and I get to help them with it.”
Kentucky Dream Realty LLC is locally owned and operated and invested in Owensboro. Ballard said they do not charge any hidden fees to buyers or sellers. As an Owensboro native, Ballard takes pride in the community’s many offerings.
