Chamber Member of the Week: TurfBot

The same company that introduced the community to Weed Man, Evergreen Lawn Care, and Mosquito Joe has added TurfBot to its list of services. Offered all across the tristate, TurfBot is a robotic mowing service that offers easy access to the service through an affordable monthly subscription.

The organization will install one of the robots on a homeowner’s property, where it will reside for the duration of the mowing and maintenance season. The machine then operates around the clock to maintain a desired lawn length and appearance.

“Imagine coming home to a freshly-mowed lawn each and every day, regardless of the weather – yes, it even operates in the rain,” said social media and marketing manager Chelsea Howard. “Our goal was to take the guesswork out of keeping individuals’ grass looking its best. We simply designed this service to make your life easier so you can enjoy your yard and take back your summer.”

Howard said the organization cultivates a growth mindset, which helps them thrive during challenging times. TurfBot is the latest example of the company’s commitment to innovation.

“We are always looking for innovative and reliable services, so when the opportunity presented itself, we quickly jumped on board,” she said. “Not only is it reliable, but it’s also convenient, safe, affordable, quiet, eco friendly, and super cool.”

The four organizations also attribute their longstanding success to the many employees and partners committed to making the business successful. She added that they had developed many relationships with their long-time clients.

“Our families have been involved in all of the ebbs and flows that come with entrepreneurship and have made many sacrifices,” Howard said. “Their support and feedback are unmatched, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them.”

Howard said they also credit the Owensboro and Daviess County communities for their outpouring of support. In return, the group is constantly searching for opportunities to return the favor.

“Owensboro is a small city with a big heart – it means so much to us that we can grow and prosper in our hometown,” she said. “Because such an amazing community like Owensboro backs us, we have been able to give back and support the community as well.”
