Over the last few weeks, our Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce staff and ambassadors have been delivering the 2019 Member Appreciation packets to our nearly 1,000 Chamber Members.
It is very important to our Chamber Board of Directors and staff that our Members know how much we appreciate them, what we have accomplished over the past year and what we are planning for the future. The GO Chamber Membership is one of the strongest in the Commonwealth, and the Owensboro business community truly understands that together, we go further.
To our Chamber Members … thank you! Because of your investment in this community through your Chamber membership, we are able to continue our mission to provide leadership, advocacy and member services that foster growth and prosperity for our region. We are also able to continue to advocate on your behalf locally and in Frankfort and D.C. And, among the important external work we do, we continue to host our trademark events and talent programs and strive to find ways to make it easier for you to do business.
We truly enjoyed hosting the 9,644 people who attended the 144 Chamber events last year, celebrating the 53 ribbon cuttings with our Members and representing more than 20,000 employees in the Greater Owensboro area. Together, we will continue to make incredible progress and look forward to all that 2019 is sure to bring.
