Chamber Member of the Week: State Farm Insurance, Seth Lawson

Owensboro native Seth Lawson began his career in the insurance industry with State Farm more than four years ago. Located in the heart of Owensboro at 1401 J.R. Miller Blvd., his office offers clients a wide array of insurance and financial services.

Those services include car, home, renter’s, life, and business insurance, and much more. The office presently employs four team members with licenses servicing all of Kentucky and Indiana.

“My team is licensed and here to help get you insurance coverage for your specific needs,” Lawson said. “Not only can we help with car insurance, homeowners insurance, life insurance, and financial services, but we are also able to assist small business owners with their commercial lines of insurance.”

As a graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School and Brescia University, Lawson takes pride in calling the Owensboro community home.

“My family and our office team members are all local to the area and are often seen out in the community in various aspects giving back,” he said. “The City of Owensboro, as well as the Chamber of Commerce, are very supportive in their efforts to help our local businesses succeed and ensure our community residents have choices.”

The State Farm family celebrated its 99th anniversary in business this past week. Lawson and his team members embrace the company’s ‘good neighbor’ approach in all that they do.

“Our family and our office are grateful to be given an opportunity to represent the most recognized insurance brand in the industry,” he said. “Our mutual structure allows us to keep our focus on customers and serving their needs.”

With many insurance and financial service options available in the community, Lawson and his team look to use their diverse menu to cater to the individual needs of each client.

“Our company was founded on a promise to help policyholders protect their lives, properties, and futures,” Lawson said. “The unexpected can happen at any time. If you want to make sure yourself and your family are prepared for that, come and have a simple conversation with us.”
