Leadership Owensboro to begin

The Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Owensboro Class of 2019 begins work on Sept. 20-21 with a retreat.

Jessica Kirk, executive director of the organization, said the community leadership program had a record number of applicants this year.

“Owensboro continues to grow leaders who are interested in contributing to our community and making a difference,” she said.

“Our goal for the class is that they graduate with a clear plan on how they can make Owensboro a better place,” said Candance Brake, chamber president and CEO.
