The Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce regularly hosts a number of events to inform and engage our membership.
The Chamber’s premier event, the Rooster Booster Breakfast, is the first Thursday of every month at 7:30 a.m. at the Owensboro Convention Center. With an average attendance of over 300, you can spend the first hour of your day networking, hearing pertinent updates and issues from national, state and local business and government leaders.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have hosted Rooster Booster virtually on Facebook Live and Zoom. Each month’s program regularly reaches over 5,000 viewers. You can watch any of the virtual programs on our YouTube channel here.
The Chamber’s largest annual event, the Chamber Celebration gathers members of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce for an event of networking, celebration and vision for the future. The event continues to grow as members see the value and excitement in kicking off the year with the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce as they recognize the Business of the Year Award Winners. The awards program celebrates outstanding businesses and their efforts.
Chamber Golf Classic
Every year, the Chamber hosts the premiere golf scramble in the Greater Owensboro region. With 144 golfers and another 50 sponsors and business leaders in attendance, it’s the best event in town to make new business connections, promote your product or service, and enjoy the competitive spirit of our Chamber Members! The event has a great atmosphere and networking opportunities, including an opening and closing reception, team photos, and trophy presentations.
Red, White & Blue Picnic
Red, White & Blue provides local constituents and media the opportunity to hear from incumbents and challengers in national, state, and local elections. Held on election years in October, it provides a non-partisan platform and a spirit of learning more about elected officials and their positions.
Farm City Breakfast
Billed as the best breakfast in Daviess County, the annual Farm City Breakfast is held each year following the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Week to celebrate the agriculture economy and its partnership with the city community. As one of the top producing agricultural counties in Kentucky, Daviess County has a rich tradition of collaboration and cooperation for success. Each year the program concludes with the presentation of the Farm City Humanitarian Award which recognizes an outstanding leader whose life of service improved the well-being of citizens throughout Owensboro and Daviess County.
