Rooster Booster to feature panel on homelessness; nonprofit fair to follow

Thursday’s Rooster Booster program will feature a panel discussion on local homelessness and the efforts to combat the issue. The inaugural Our Chamber Has Heart Non-Profit Fair will take place immediately following the Rooster Booster program in the lobby of the Convention Center.

Panelists include Brandon Harley (Audubon Area Community Services), Megan Nicodemus (Daviess County High School), Harry Pedigo (Daniel Pitino Shelter and St. Benedicts Homeless Shelter), and Crystal Sapp (St. Joseph Peace Mission for Children). The panel will be moderated by Erica Wade, Executive Director of The Center. 

The program begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Owensboro Convention Center (501 West Second Street) and is sponsored by Owensboro Community & Technical College. Register to attend here or call the Chamber office at 270-926-1860.
