Chamber Member of the Week: KORT

KORT launched in Owensboro in 2010 after expanding west from Central Kentucky. The organization operates over 65 centers across Kentuckiana including 3 in Daviess County, offering outpatient physical and occupational therapy.

The clinic recently expanded to a larger location at 3415 New Hartford Road to serve its growing patient base better. Clinic director Aaron Flaherty said they offer a full range of care, including post-operative, vestibular, sports medicine, and non-operative conservative treatment.

Flaherty said they take great pride in providing a high level of care to Owensboro and the surrounding communities.

“Our patient care team has deep roots in the Owensboro community and enjoys guiding our fellow Owensboro residents to their highest level of pain-free function,” he said. “Additionally, our growth has added high-quality professional jobs to the area.”

The first KORT opened in 1987, providing clinical and customer service excellence to patients at employer sites and high school, college, and professional sports teams. They offer extended hours for increased flexibility before or after work. Flaherty said patients can also enjoy the convenience of same-day or next-day appointments.

Owensboro native Jennifer Byrne serves as the center manager. Flaherty, Sam Knott, Windy Willey, Carey Broughton, and Chelsea Rice round out the team.

“We want to thank the Owensboro community for the patronage over the last 13 years and look forward to continuing to serve,” Flaherty said.
