What matters to us:
High school diploma or G.E.D required
Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
Licensed by the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy.
Experience working in with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
Essential Functions:
Provides physical therapy services according to an individual’s plan of care.
Consults with supervising Physical Therapist regarding client status.
Ensures that documentation and billing are completed according to Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy Practice Act and all applicable regulations.
Maintains knowledge of current trends in Physical Therapy.
Assures the maintenance of standards of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Serves as liaison to residents, facility staff, and community agencies to enhance awareness of services provided.
Provides facility in-service and/or training programs as needed.
