What matters to us:
Active membership in the American Dietetic Association and be a Registered Dietitian.
Licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky by the Board for Dietitians and Nutritionists (LD)
Completed an approved internship or Master’s degree program.
Minimum of two (2) years experience working as a Registered Dietitian in a health care setting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of licensing requirements, life safety codes, infection control, OSHA state and fire regulations and guidelines.
Computer and math skills for computing weight and measurement of foods and liquids.
Knowledge of nutritional requirements and menu planning.
Ability to comply with all dietary requirement services and regulations.
Essential Functions:
Complete nutritional assessments as ordered or annually for individuals within the ICF/MR program.
Serve on the Interdisciplinary Team as needed.
Recommend nutritional modifications to the attending physician and/or Medical Director.
Ensure provision of service within state and federal standards and regulations.
Act as liaison to integrate the nutritional aspects of each person’s care with the individual, their medical chart, family and treating professionals through such methods as instruction, recording, diet history and observation.
