Owensboro Dance Theatre – ODT’s 6th annual Dance Battle Extravaganza | February 15
“Dance Battle Extravaganza” brings together the energy of a professional jazz dance company and over 140 local community members for a fun, family-friendly dance competition in support of the arts in Owensboro, KY.
The night kicks off with a dynamic performance from the jazz company, followed by the second act where six community groups—ranging from nonprofits to schools—compete for bragging rights and cash prizes, including a $1,000 Grand Prize. Audience members get to vote for their favorite performers via text, alongside judges who help decide the winners.
This exciting event fosters community, encourages creativity, and supports local organizations through dance!
