Emergency Response Plan Active Shooter Virtual Tabletop Exercise | January 29, 2020

On Wednesday, January 29th 2020 Owensboro Community and Technical Collage (OCTC) and Daviess County Emergency Management are hosting an “Active Shooter” Virtual Tabletop Exercise (VTTX) conducted by FEMA.

The VTTX is to review your Emergency Response Plans (ERP) for an Active Shooter in an Office environment.  The VTTX is designed to be discussion based as you will listen to a scenario and give responses based on your ERP.  If your organization does not have an ERP to address this type of situation, this can be an opportunity to gather information and assistance to create or revise your ERP.

The event is scheduled from 11 am – 4 pm on the main OCTC campus at 4800 New Hartford Rd in the Advanced Technology Center at the central portion of the campus.

We’re asking interested parties to RSVP no later than 1 pm on Friday, January 24th to help us finalize the plan for a lite lunch.  Responses and or questions can be sent to jclouse@daviessky.org
