Chamber Member of the Week: The Party Space Place

The Party Space Place (TPSP) exists for those seeking a quality venue for smaller-scale events while offering various services to ensure a smooth experience. Approaching one year in operation, owner and operator Allyson Sanders developed the idea for the venue after empathizing with fellow party planners, parents, and friends looking for a unique small space to host events.

Sanders and her team operate under the slogan, “Don’t mess up your place, let us be your party space” — something they don’t take lightly. Sanders said that parties are their passion, and they can provide as little or as much assistance in the planning process as each host desires.

“Whether it’s a first baby, bridal shower, or going away party, no one wants to be the sweaty person running around trying to be a good hostess,” Sanders said. “TPSP allows hosts, party planners, and guests to enjoy themselves stress-free in a chic, clean space.”

In addition to providing a venue, TPSP offers product rentals that range from centerpieces and photo props to balloon art, garlands, and arches. They also offer party planning and coordination, vendor search assistance, day-of wedding planning, security, and bartending.

Sanders said they also pride themselves on a unique service. Their “Ghost Host” feature allows them to stay behind the scenes assisting with party set-up and take-down. They also offer outside of venue event coordination and handle the cleaning and sanitation following each event.

“It is a tremendous honor to be included as one of Owensboro’s many unique small businesses; Owensboro has embraced our micro-venue with open arms and has kept us busy,” she said.

Sanders added that the local chamber and media outlets continue to play a pivotal role in their successes.

“We love the support we receive from the Owensboro Chamber and our local news outlets,” Sanders said. “Our team members have friends and families in other cities who have a small business and are amazed by how fast the community rallied behind us.”

Located at 5010 Wildcat Way near Walmart on Frederica Street, Sanders and her team are available in some capacity to answer questions and assist in the planning process. Hours vary by appointment, but they can typically be reached by phone at 270-313-8108 or their website thepartyspaceplace.com.

Pictures of their work and more information are available on nearly every social media platform by searching The Party Space Place.

“Dates are filling up fast,” Sanders said. “Don’t hesitate to call us with your event needs — big or small; we can handle them all.”
