GO Chamber magazine launches new look for 2021

Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce and Tanner Publishing have launched a complete rebranding of their partnership publication GO Chamber in 2021. Now printed in a sleek new size and format, GO Chamber has adapted to the evolving Greater Owensboro business community.

Readers can expect a more significant focus on the Chamber, its events and the array of benefits it provides its members.

The magazine, which will still be printed quarterly, is now mailed directly to Chamber members — with more than 3,000 copies mailed in the first quarter.

“Our partnership projects with Tanner Publishing have themes that run constant — continued innovation, cutting-edge creativity and excellence,” said Candance Castlen Brake, Chamber President and CEO. “GO Chamber’s new look demonstrates how the teams at Tanner+West and Tanner Publishing are always adapting and improving their products. We hope that our Chamber members enjoy the new look and take every opportunity to be a part of the publication.”

Although the magazine may look different, it still offers the same content for its readers — advice from local entrepreneurs and professionals, top picks by local leaders and coverage of the topics and priorities that matter most to Chamber members.

Heading up efforts of GO Chamber is new editor, Ashley Wedding. She has been the editor of Tanner Publishing’s Owensboro Parent magazine for the last 10 years and is the public relations director of the Owensboro-based nonprofit Puzzle Pieces. She has a background in journalism and marketing and a passion for her hometown.

“I have built my career in Owensboro and am excited to be a part of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce’s efforts in keeping its members informed and energized about this community,” Wedding said.

Jason Tanner, publisher of Tanner Publishing, has been partnering with the Chamber since GO Chamber magazine launched in 2015, but has been a member for more than a decade.

“The Chamber is doing important work for the Owensboro business community and we at Tanner Publishing are honored to be a part of those efforts,” Tanner said. “We are excited to move into 2021 with a new look, new brand and fresh take on what Chamber members need to know.”
