Owensboro Buys It

Owensboro Buys It! is a Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce program designed to connect smaller Chamber of Commerce members that sell products and/or services with the purchasing decision-makers at larger local companies/industry/organizations. There is no cost to Chamber members, only lots of opportunity! Thousands of dollars of business have been created through Owensboro Buys It!.

- The 2012 “Owensboro Buys It!” expo will be held on Thursday, October 25th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Hines Center.

- “Elevator pitch” training for “sellers” will be held in June. Businesses that have qualified as a “seller” in the past DO NOT need to attend an “elevator pitch” training session. Chamber members that have not participated in the past two years must attend at least one session.

- Make a Business Connections will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Thursday May 17th, June 21st, July 19th, August 16th and September 20th. To qualify to attend the expo, all “sellers” must attend at least two of these Make a Business Connection events to practice your “elevator pitch.” This includes members who participated in 2009, 2010 or 2011.
