Task Forces

Chamber members are invited to participate in a Task Force. It’s a great way to be involved, meet other local business leaders and be informed.

Advocacy Task Force: The Advocacy Task Force develops programs to promote a pro-business and pro-Owensboro position on policy and projects in local, state and federal government.

Chamber Ambassadors: Chamber Ambassadors perform many tasks including attending ribbon cuttings, serving as greeters and visiting with Chamber members. This group is a great way for members to be active in the Chamber and meet potential customers.

Small Business Task Force: The Small Business Task Force works on issues related to small businesses. The Owensboro Has It!, Owensboro Buys It! and Make a Business Connection programs are functions of this Task Force.

Agribusiness Task Force: This group is responsible for the Annual Farm-City Breakfast and the Agribusiness Tour.

 Golf Classic Task Force: One of the area’s premier golf outings, the Chamber Golf Classic is also the Chamber’s main fundraiser each year.
