Corporate sponsorships now available for Chamber Annual Dinner

The Chamber of Commerce will celebrate its 2008 accomplishments at its annual dinner on Thursday evening, January 22nd at the Hines Center in Philpot. Congressman Brett Guthrie, who was elected last November, will be the keynote speaker. The event begins at 6 p.m. with a reception.

Corporate sponsorships are available for $1,500 and include two seats at the head table plus a table of eight. Corporate sponsors receive logo recognition in the invitations and program as well as prominent signage at the head table.

Congressman Guthrie was previously a state senator from Bowling Green where he was a member of five legislative committees, including serving as chair of the Transportation Committee. He also served as director of operations for Trace Die Casting in Bowling Green.

The Chamber Annual Dinner includes the release of the Chamber’s 2008 annual report. It outlines the past year’s accomplishments which include legislative and transportation advocacy, more than 100 new Chamber members, nearly 70 ribbon cuttings and leading roles in various activities.

The annual dinner includes the ceremonial “passing of the gavel” from 2008 Chair of the Board Tish Correa-Osborne to new Chair Wayne Foster as well as recognition for outgoing board members. The 2009 Owensboro Magazine will also be released at the dinner.

Tickets for the dinner are $50 each or $400 for a table of eight. Non-Chamber member tickets are $75 each. Invitations are being sent to all Chamber members. Reservations can also be made by calling the Chamber at 926-1860.
