List: Shop Small summer event returns Saturday; here’s which retailers and restaurants are participating
Nearly two dozen local businesses will participate in “Shop Owensboro – Summer Edition” this Saturday. The event is designed for the community to support local businesses, and those participating will offer special shopping or dining deals and discounts.
The annual vent is presented by the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce with Independence Bank as the main sponsor.
Shop Owensboro – Summer Edition was started in July 2020 in the height of the pandemic shutdowns, and the Chamber has continued to put on the event each year since.
“We are always delighted to celebrate Shop Owensboro in July,” said Candance Brake, President and CEO of GO Chamber. “Shopping local is one of the most impactful ways that each of us can be a part of our community’s success. Our local businesses are the first people we ask for donations, support, and volunteers. They need to feel our support now more than ever.”
